5. Clean Braking Surfaces and Adjust

Adjust Shifting
7. Test Ride and Re-adjust as
Necessary
Major Tune
Up

1. Wash Bike in Bike Wash, Including
Drivetrain Degreasing.
2. Adjust Headset, Bottom Bracket,
and Hub Bearings as Applicable.
3. Check Bolts
Torques
4. Clean/Lube Seatpost and Quill
Stem if Applicable
5. True Wheels and Install New
Tires/Tubes as Needed.
6. Replace all Cables/Housing as
needed, Tape Bar/Install Grips
7. Clean or Replace Brake Pads,
Clean Rim or Rotor, and Adjust Brakes.
8. Lube or Replace
Chain
9. Replace Cassette/Chain Rings as
Needed.
10. Lube Derailleurs/Shifters, and
